§1 Information about the collection of personal data
(1) Below we provide information about the collection of personal data when you use our website. Personal data is all data that can be personally related to you, e.g., name, address, email addresses, and user behavior.

(3) When you contact us by email, the data you provide (your email address, if applicable your name and telephone number) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in answering your request in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. We delete the data collected in this context once storage is no longer required or restrict processing if statutory retention periods apply.
(4) If we use contracted service providers for individual functions of our offering or wish to use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail below about the respective processes. We will also state the established criteria for the storage period.
§2 Your rights
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:
(1) Right to information pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR: The data subject may request confirmation from the controller as to whether personal data concerning him or her are being processed. If this is the case, the data subject has a right to access certain information regarding this personal data.
(2) Right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR: The data subject has the right to request the controller to immediately rectify inaccurate personal data concerning him or her. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, the data subject has the right to request the completion of incomplete personal data.
(3) Right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR: The data subject has the right to request that the controller erase personal data concerning him or her without undue delay, and the controller is generally obliged to erase personal data without undue delay. However, there are personal data that are exempt from this obligation to erase and for which we are even required to continue storing them by other laws.
(4) Right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR: The data subject has the right to request the controller to restrict processing if certain conditions are met.
(5) Right of objection pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR: The data subject has the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning him or her which is based on Article 6 (1) (e) GDPR (data processing in the public interest) and Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR (data processing on the basis of a balance of interests), for reasons related to his or her particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on this provision within the meaning of Article 4 (4) GDPR.
If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

(6) Right to withdraw consent pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR: The data subject has the right to withdraw their consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the withdrawal.
(7) Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: If you believe that the processing of your personal data by us is unlawful or that we are violating data protection law for other reasons, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for us.

§3 Hosting
(1) The hosting services we use serve to provide the following services: infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, storage space and database services, email delivery, security services and technical maintenance services, which we use for the purpose of operating this online service.
(2) In doing so, we or our hosting provider process inventory data, contact data, content data, contract data, usage data, meta and communication data of customers, interested parties and visitors to this online offer on the basis of our legitimate interests in the efficient and secure provision of this online offer in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 28 GDPR (conclusion of a data processing agreement).
§4 Accessing the website
If you use the website purely for informational purposes, i.e., if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and ensure stability and security:
IP address
We collect and store this data for a limited period of time based on our legitimate interest in order to be able to derive personal data in the event of unauthorized access or attempted access to our servers (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
§5 Use of cookies
We use cookies and similar functions on our websites to process device information and the personal data of our users. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disk and associated with the browser you use. They allow certain information to be sent to the location that placed the cookies (here, this is us). They are designed to make the website more user-friendly and effective overall.
We distinguish between three categories of cookies: essential cookies, without which the functionality of our website would be limited, convenience cookies for the integration of external elements, and analysis cookies for statistical analyses.
We currently use two essential cookies to load the website and to continuously display the selected language on the subpages. A corresponding notice is displayed on the homepage.

§6 Integration of YouTube videos
(1) We have integrated YouTube videos into our online offering. These videos are stored at http://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website. These are all integrated in "extended data protection mode," meaning that no data about you as a user is transferred to YouTube if you do not play the videos. The data mentioned in paragraph 2 will only be transferred once you give your consent and play the videos. We have no influence over this data transfer.
(2) By visiting the website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data specified in Section 4 of this declaration will be transmitted. This occurs regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish to be assigned to your YouTube profile, you must log out before activating the button. YouTube stores your data as user profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or to tailor its website to meet your needs. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide tailored advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles; to exercise this right you must contact YouTube. The legal basis for the use of YouTube is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

(4) You can also change the use of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly or in the cookie settings.

§7 Contact form via Pipedrive
(1) When you contact us via the form, the data you provide (your email address, your name, and your telephone number, if applicable) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. The form is managed via pipedrive ( https://www.pipedrive.com/en/privacy ) and also saved to enable possible further actions, such as sending a white paper.
(2) When you visit the website, pipedrive receives information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data specified in Section 4 of this policy is transmitted. This occurs regardless of whether pipedrive provides a user account through which you are logged in, or whether no user account exists.

§8 Use of Google Analytics
(1) We use the web analytics service Google Analytics on our website, provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). With the help of Google Analytics, we can analyze the behavior of visitors to our website and thereby improve our content and offerings.
(2) Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of our website. The information generated by the cookies is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In Google Analytics 4, IP anonymization is activated by default. Due to IP anonymization, your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. According to Google, the IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

(3) Processing and storage by Google Analytics are carried out exclusively on the basis of your voluntary consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (1) TTDSG. The use of Google Analytics is not required for the operation of our website. You can refuse or withdraw your consent at any time via our cookie settings dialog without any disadvantages.
(4) Google processes the data on our behalf and relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure an adequate level of data protection. However, we point out that no data protection level comparable to that of the EU is guaranteed in the USA, and access by US authorities cannot be ruled out.

(6) The data we send and that are linked to cookies are automatically deleted after 14 months. The maximum lifetime of Google Analytics cookies is 2 years. The deletion of data whose retention period has expired takes place automatically once a month.
(7) You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by accessing the cookie settings and changing your selection there. The legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until withdrawal remains unaffected.
You can also prevent the storage of cookies in advance by configuring your browser software accordingly. However, if you configure your browser to reject all cookies, some functionalities on this and other websites may be restricted. In addition, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google.

§9 Online presence in social media
We maintain online presences within social networks to inform active users about our services and to communicate directly via the platforms if they are interested. We are currently represented on the following networks:

All of our social media channels can only be accessed by visitors to our website via an external link. We do not use any plugins or other interfaces offered by the respective networks for embedding content on our website.
We have no influence on the collection and further use of data by social networks. We therefore have no knowledge of the extent, location, and duration of data storage, the extent to which the networks comply with existing deletion obligations, the evaluations and links made to the data, and to whom the data is shared. We therefore expressly point out that user data (e.g., personal information, IP address) is stored by the network operators in accordance with their data usage guidelines and used for business purposes.
We process the data of users on our social media presences if they contact and communicate with us via, for example, comments or direct messages.
The legal basis for the processing of user data is Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR.
Our online offering does not include any features or content from the Xing service, offered by New Work SE, Dammtorstraße 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. The Xing channels are only accessible via an external link. If visitors to our website are members of the Xing platform, Xing can assign the visit to the social media channel to the user's profile there if the user visits the Xing profile while logged in. We would like to point out that we have no influence on the content or scope of use of the data collected by Xing. Our online offering does not include any features or content from the LinkedIn service, offered by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. If visitors to our website are members of the LinkedIn platform, LinkedIn can associate the visit to the social media channel with the user's profile there if the user visits the LinkedIn profile while logged in. We would like to point out that we have no influence on the content or extent of the use of the data collected by LinkedIn. §10 Plausible
To collect simple statistics, we use the Plausible Analytics service from Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403, Tartu, Estonia, registration number 14709274 (hereinafter referred to as Plausible). Plausible pursues a privacy-friendly approach to visitor analysis, is fully GDPR-compliant, and does not use cookies.
Plausible is hosted on our hosting company's server, so no third parties (including Plausible itself) have access to the collected data. Through Plausible, we only collect the date and time of your visit, the URL of the pages visited, incoming links, and some data about your location and browser. All personal data (e.g., your IP address) is completely anonymized and can no longer be assigned to you upon storage.
